How shipping works
Retail-priced orders
Retail orders of $75 or more ship free. Below $75, shipping starts at $9.99. The threshold is based on the merchandise subtotal after discounts, before tax. Available destinations and the final shipping rate are shown at checkout.
Professional and wholesale orders
Shipping is charged on every shipped professional or wholesale order and added to the final invoice. A $0 or “Free” amount beside the invoice-shipping option at checkout is a placeholder, not free wholesale shipping. In-store pickup is free with no minimum.
The $200 professional minimum
Shipped professional and wholesale orders have a $200 merchandise minimum. Shipping is still charged on the final invoice. The minimum does not apply to in-store pickup.
Heavy liquids and backbar formats
Developers, coactivators, backbar shampoos and conditioners, and other liquid or large-format products can be unusually heavy relative to their price. Shipping varies with the contents, weight, destination, and practical packaging required.
Mixed retail and professional orders
If your cart contains both retail-priced and professional or wholesale products, professional shipping may be added to the final wholesale invoice. Retail free-shipping eligibility does not waive shipping on the professional portion of the order.
Shipping speed and method
We select the most economical practical shipping method and work to send in-stock orders promptly. Dense or liquid orders may travel in carrier flat-rate packaging when it is the best fit, but the service used may vary.
