How shipping works
Retail-priced orders
Retail-priced products generally ship free. Eligibility depends on the product and destination and will be shown at checkout.
Professional and wholesale orders
Professional and wholesale orders always carry shipping. Checkout may initially display $0 because shipping is added to the final wholesale invoice after we review product availability and the order details.
The $200 professional minimum
The $200 minimum is an order minimum only. It is not a free-shipping threshold, and meeting it does not waive professional shipping.
Heavy liquids and backbar formats
Developers, coactivators, backbar shampoos and conditioners, and other liquid or large-format products can be unusually heavy relative to their price. Shipping varies with the contents, weight, destination, and practical packaging required.
Mixed retail and professional orders
If your cart contains both retail-priced and professional or wholesale products, professional shipping may be added to the final wholesale invoice. Retail free-shipping eligibility does not waive shipping on the professional portion of the order.
Shipping speed and method
We select the most economical practical shipping method and work to send in-stock orders promptly. Dense or liquid orders may travel in carrier flat-rate packaging when it is the best fit, but the service used may vary.
On-demand Denver delivery
Need colour in a pinch? Denver-area on-demand delivery may be available by arrangement and may carry a separate delivery fee. Contact us before ordering if timing is critical.
